The German government has dismissed claims that 250,000 Kenyans had been granted access to work in Germany following a recently signed labor agreement. Additionally, it has come to light that an unspecified number of undocumented Kenyan immigrants in Germany are set to be deported back to Nairobi.
In an earlier interview with Deutsche Welle (DW), President William Ruto had stated that up to 250,000 Kenyans were expected to secure jobs in Germany through the labor agreement between the two nations.
On Saturday, CNN reported that a representative from President Ruto’s office previously indicated they were exploring employment opportunities for as many as 250,000 Kenyans.
