Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has directed landlords in the city to repaint their buildings and install security lights as required by law. This initiative is part of a plan to transform Nairobi’s Central Business District (CBD) into a cleaner, safer, and more attractive area.
In his announcement, Governor Sakaja gave landlords a 90-day deadline to ensure their buildings have a fresh coat of paint and security lights are installed to enhance the city’s safety and appearance, especially at night. This move aims to improve the city’s cleanliness, attract businesses, and enhance the experience of residents and visitors in Nairobi.
