Turkana County has welcomed a fresh cohort of interns to its workforce and partner organizations, marking the start of a transformative journey for the young professionals.
The one-year internship program is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical experience, empowering young people while strengthening public service delivery. Interns will be placed in various County Departments and partner NGOs to gain hands-on experience and contribute to community development initiatives.

Speaking during the induction ceremony, Board Member Vonwilly Etiir underscored the importance of professionalism and dedication in public service. “Approach this opportunity with integrity, as it will shape your future and enhance the quality of service delivery in our county,” he advised the interns.
